OHIP covered2) Group sessions of CBT-i, i.e., cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia. Typically by video, 75 min each, weekly for 6 weeks. We can form groups within your organization/team only or let employees join groups with the general public. Topics include sleep restriction therapy aka consolidation, cognitive restructuring, anxiety management, relaxation training, stimulus control, and sleep hygiene. Also OHIP covered.3) Chat-based therapy: physician-led sleep guidance using online sleep diaries and secure chat, for virtual check-ins and troubleshooting. Not OHIP covered. May be eligible for reimbursement through some employer Health Spending Accounts (HSA/PHSP) or Wellness Spending Accounts (WSA) as an uninsured medical service, rather than psychotherapy. Receipts include provider credentials, dates of service, and a medical-service description.Coverage is not guaranteed—please confirm with your benefits administrator.Does therapy for insomnia work?
